The Ace it! Reading Program is an engaging, effective, and efficient intervention program for small groups (up to 8 students per teacher). The rigorous evidence-based curriculum is designed specifically to address the needs of under-performing students in Reading. Students are placed in small groups based upon their scores on the STAR Reading Assessment.
During each session, the tutor leads the group through explicit, intensive, and systematic instruction. Each skill is modeled by the teacher; students are then guided through skill practice, which is followed by independent work. Tutors have options for differentiated modifications for all independent activities. The tutor tracks individual progress and uses a variety of techniques to address the diverse learning needs of the students in the group. The STAR is also used to track student academic progress.
